MADRID - Yesterday's Spanish Art Sale held in Madrid totaled ˆ5.575.450/Ł4,404,606/$7,749,876. The sale's top lot was the painting Matisse como pretexto by Manolo Valdés, which achieved ˆ505.000 and set new a world record for the artist.
